We are a Preschool to Grade Eight parochial school, where Christ is central in every part of the day. We are a foundational center of learning, preparing students for witness and for life, from the earliest grade until they graduate. Our academic program of education is demanding and our students go on to high school fully prepared – most graduating with academic honors. But most importantly, each student at Zion is a Champion for Christ, daily growing in faith and with a desire to witness and serve in their community and world.
Zion is part of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod system of schools that crosses the United States and beyond. We are distinctively Lutheran, thankful to our forefathers within the LCMS for making our Lutheran schools a top priority within our congregations. Follow this link to learn more:
Zion Lutheran School staff members strive to create loving and spirit-filled relationships, encouraging students to do their God-given best in all things. Our campus sits on 25 beautiful acres of God’s creation. Watch and listen as we build upon our vision to serve the Georgetown community in Christian education.
Our theme for the 2021 – 2022 school year is “Joyful in Hope” from Romans 12:12-13.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
We continually lead and mentor students to let their light shine in every part of their lives – from serving others, to leading chapels, from digging deeper into Scripture to being outspoken in their faith lives.
Please join us in this exciting journey. Stop in for a student-led tour and meeting with me. God bless you as you prayerfully consider partnering with us here on the hilltop!
